Information for Congregation Councils and Treasurers

Congregations are centers for mission where people of faith celebrate, learn, and connect with one another and others around the world through service and weekly worship.

The Congregation Council is an elected body of the congregation which has oversight of the life of the congregation, including its worship life, to the end that everything is done in accordance with the Word of God and the faith and practice of the ELCA.

2024 Council Zoom Meetings

Council presidents are invited to join Bishop Tim & Assistant to the Bishop, Pastor Alfredo Oviedo, for conversation, prayer, and sharing.

Over the course of this year, we will gather for three spring and three fall Zoom meetings around a different topic to share resources, check in, and learn from one another. Feel free to invite your executive members of council, if applicable.

Email updates and Zoom links will be sent to council presidents before each meeting. Use the link above to share your council president's contact information.
