Event Description
The rise of Christian Nationalism—a strategy demanding that followers of Jesus seize state power to enshrine their beliefs into law applicable to everyone—repulses a growing number of Christians who have a hard time thinking and speaking from a more vibrant theological vision. Dr. Diana Butler Bass, Dr. Tripp Fuller of Homebrewed Christianity, and Tim Whitaker of The New Evangelicals are bringing together a number of alternative theo-political visions to introduce a multiplicity of vibrant — yet neglected — traditions in public theology. This five-week course begins on Tuesday, June 4 and continues for five Tuesdays with sessions available as replays.
