Sardis, Lutheran

The people of Sardis Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hickory celebrated their Homecoming Sunday with worship, fellowship, and service on God’s work. Our hands. Sunday. The Social Ministry Committee led the congregation in assembling lunch bags for people experiencing homelessness. With all of the food and goodies in the bags, members also wrote notes of encouragement to put in the bags. All together, they packed 120 bags for the Corner Table.
