Stay updated with LDR Carolinas.

As the Carolinas prepare for the impact of Hurricane Debby, folks in the North Carolina Synod can look to LDR Carolinas for helpful updates. While the exact path of the storm can change, we should be prepared for heavy rain and high winds across large portions of both Carolinas. LDR Carolinas Facebook page is full of updates regarding the storm, including preparedness and safety tips, available evacuation shelters, and more.

The LDR Carolinas blog provides helpful dos and don’ts for responding to natural disasters like Hurricane Debby:
Do—Pray for those affected by the storm.
Don’t—Please do not self-deploy after a disaster.
Do—Volunteer through our partner organizations.
Don’t—Please do not send stuff.
Do—Give! & Consider projects for God’s work. Our hands. day.
Read the blog in detail.

Let us pray:
God of wind and water, stillness and storm, your spirit sweeps over the surface of the sea. Give us faith to seek you in times of trouble. Reach out your hand to us when we are sinking so that we may believe and worship you; through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
