New Re-Gathering Considerations

The synod’s Re-Gathering Task Force met on March 9, 2022, to give attention to the latest trends of the COVID-19 pandemic across the synod. The new document states, “Federal, state, and local governments across the nation have substantially loosened their COVID protocols. At this time in the North Carolina Synod, we are suggesting the same.”

At their March 11-12 meeting, the NC Synod Council affirmed the document which additionally urges continued support of those in congregations who still choose to follow stricter guidelines.
