Mt Hebron Serves Generationally

Much sharing, fellowship, and laughter about our time serving others brought all our generations closer together.

Mt. Hebron Lutheran Church in Hildebran had a week-long intergenerational God’s work. Our hands. Baskets of supplies went to three elementary schools. Youth and grandparents baked cookies and made thank-you cards for our two fire stations of 70 people. Twenty-five Personal Care Kits were assembled along with socks-in-a-bag for the food bank to give with groceries. Many went outside and cleaned the neighborhood, cleared around East Burke Christian Ministries, and did some planting. Inside the church, the Sunday School area was refurbished and giveaways to the community reading boxes were plucked from our library. Young ones were busy with “Thank-you” and “We love you” cards. All returned to a delicious lunch prepared by fellow parishioners. Much sharing, fellowship, and laughter about our time serving others brought all our generations closer together.
