Join the Election Eve Prayer Service

Regardless of the countless contradicting hopes, visions, and fears we each have for this country, we recognize that, above all, we are one in Christ.

On Monday, November 4, at 7:00 p.m., all are invited to a synod-wide Election Eve Prayer Service.

Regardless of the countless contradicting hopes, visions, and fears we each have for this country, we recognize that, above all, we are one in Christ. The night before the election, at our most anxious and divided, we come together for a moment of prayer. We pray for peace, for wisdom, and for the unity of God’s church—held in grace, mercy, and love, despite our failings. As fallible humans in a broken world, we are called to lament our faults and remind each other of who we are: beloved children of God, embraced in one body, members together of God’s own household.
