Zion Adopts Local Pregnancy Center

Zion is excited and humbled to serve God's people by assisting pregnant women and their families with much-needed resources.
Grace, Raleigh
On God’s work. Our hands. (GWOH) Sunday, September 10, about 40 members and friends of Grace, Raleigh, stayed after worship to work with Grace’s preschool, The School of Grace. First, we enjoyed lunch prepared by Women of the ELCA members, provided through a Thrivent Action Team Grant.
The School of Grace is a nurturing, loving parent-participatory preschool housed at Grace Lutheran Church in Raleigh. The School reserves spaces in each of the classes for children with refugee status and children with special needs. It is truly a wonderful ministry!
This year for GWOH, Grace members cleaned up the playground for smaller children, pulled weeds, brought and spread mulch, affixed safety netting around the porch railing, cleaned out gutters, and more! It is great to be in partnership with The School of Grace!
