On Saturday, September 10, for God’s work. Our hands., several members of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Goldsboro, got together to make quiches for the Protestant Preschool & Kindergarten teachers to help them get their school year off to a delicious start. Fourteen quiches were assembled, baked, and frozen for the teachers to pick up on their way home after school. The Protestant Preschool & Kindergarten classes are housed in the educational wing of Good Shepherd. The school serves children aged 2 years to kindergarten from the Goldsboro and Wayne County areas. Good Shepherd is one of several local churches that has provided support for the school for over 50 years.
