I thank my God in all my remembrance of you… because of your partnership in the gospel… (Philippians 1:3-5)

Partners in the gospel–that is who we are as congregations, the NC Synod, and the churchwide organization. Synod Partners is the name given to the current synodical effort designed to help all of us discover and celebrate how we are church together. Partners have been trained to visit individual congregations. We hope that every congregation in our synod will participate. Please invite an NC Synod Partner to visit your congregation; perhaps during a congregational event with a meal. The visit will include:
• viewing two short videos about being church together
• conversation around two questions: what is God up to in your congregation and how are lives changed? what are the the challenges your congregation is facing?

Synod Partners is all about building relationships to discover and celebrate how we are church together and increase our capacity to carry out the mission God has entrusted to us–that all may know the breadth, depth, length and height of the God’s love.
