Pastor Sue Lynn White (St. Peter’s, Salisbury)
St. James, Rockwell, and St. Peter’s, Salisbury, partnered for a God’s work. Our hands. weekend of service and worship. On Saturday, September 6, they hosted a community health fair featuring wellness resources, hand sanitizer, lip balm, and first-aid giveaways. While turnout was small due to other local events, the American Red Cross blood drive was a big success—collecting 23 pints of blood, well above the 15-pint goal!
On Sunday, both congregations came together at St. James for a combined worship service with 136 in attendance. Pastor Thomas presided at communion, and Pastor Sue Lynn brought the message for the day, which reminded all of the joy found in serving neighbors together.
