St. Mark’s Serving with Paws and Purpose

A month of service inspired by love for all God’s creatures.

St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Lumberton

For God’s work. Our hands. Sunday, St. Mark’s, Lumberton, kicked off a month-long service project—Cause for Paws—supporting the local animal rescue Franny’s Friends. Frances Stayton, the rescue’s founder, joined worship (and chatted with resident pup, Cooper!) to share about their mission and ongoing needs. The congregation looks forward to continuing their partnership throughout the month, culminating with a Blessing of the Animals on October 4.
