Roof Above Lunch Project: St. Luke’s, Charlotte

St. Luke’s worked on 4 projects for GWOH this year.

Roof Above
Members of the congregation donated, assembled, and delivered items for 100 bagged lunches for the unhoused at Roof Above’s Day Services Center.

HopeKids
Folks donated ‘quiet’ toys that our children stuffed into 30 HopeKids Hospital bags. The bags are given to children to keep them occupied while they are undergoing treatment for cancer at the Levine Children’s Hospital. Our children learned from this experience that they are an important part of St. Luke’s ministry to share God’s love in our community.

The Nursery Project
When completed, the nursery will be a bright, colorful, welcoming space for our children and visitors!

Nourish Up
We collected 303 pounds of non-perishable food and delivered it to the Nourish Up warehouse. Neighbors who are food-challenged will feel God’s love through our actions!
