Our work helped protect critters in the river and ocean from litter that could have run off into the water.

Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Jacksonville just finished a summer preaching series on Creation Care so we made pinecone bird feeders as an in-house service project during Sunday school. Then after worship, we picked up trash at Sturgeon City Environmental Education Center and explored their exhibits. Our work helped protect critters in the river and ocean from litter that could have run off into the water. The Girl Scout troop that meets at the church joined the congregation for this service project as well.
