Holy Comforter’s Compassionate Action

Holy Comforter, Belmont, came together to support unhoused individuals through meaningful service and compassionate action.

This year, Holy Comforter, Belmont, came together to support our community with various projects that aligned with our goal of supporting unhoused individuals through meaningful service and compassionate action.

At Displaced Roses, members painted a vibrant mural and inspirational quotes. Many volunteers also sewed reusable bags from donated t-shirts, fulfilling a crucial need for the unhoused community served by this vital organization.

Efforts extended to our local CRO, SOCKS, where we organized the pantry and closet. We assembled blessing bags packed with winter essentials, addressing the pressing needs of those facing the cold months ahead. At Catherine’s House, we assisted with cleaning and organizing, and provided birthday kits designed to bring simple, joyful moments to families housed there.
