Cetera Jacobs Creative
On Thursday, May 1, Bishop Jennifer Brooke-Davidson, Assistant Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina, and Father Javier Arias of Comunidad Amada de Cristo (Christ’s Beloved Community) in Winston-Salem—a shared mission of the NC Synod ELCA and the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina—led a joyous service celebrating 47 Confirmations, 26 First Communions, and 32 Receptions into Membership. The sanctuary at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Winston-Salem was filled with more than 400 Latino worshipers, as Comunidad Amada de Cristo’s regular worship space could not accommodate the crowd for such a special occasion. It was a vibrant and spirit-filled day of worship and celebration!
