Lutheran congregations in the North Carolina Synod celebrated the birth of Christ with creative pageants, inspiring plays, and soul-stirring concerts. From children sharing the nativity story to choirs lifting hearts and voices with timeless services of lessons and carols, it truly was a joyful Christmas season!

The youth of St. John’s, Taylorsville presented the Christmas play, “A Star is Born!” on December 22. See the images below.
Amazing Grace, Granite Falls was struck by the cookie bug and decided to make cookies for our homebound members, those in a nursing home, and our local fire department and EMS station. Four hours later we had chocolate chip, snickerdoodles, thumbprints, peanut butter oatmeal, sugar, and kolacky cookies. Are we tired? YES! But the spirit of giving is strong! See the pictures below.
