Mt. Hebron, Hildebran, parishioners took seriously the idea of 10 outreaches for the 10th anniversary of God’s Work. Our Hands. With almost the whole congregation involved, we baked cookies and made cards to deliver to our local fire station, made baskets for the teachers’ lounge at three elementary schools, repaired the senior citizen horseshoe pit, put together personal care kits for Lutheran World Relief, pruned bushes for shut-ins and for East Burke Christian Ministries (EBCM), unloaded food for the East Burke Christian Ministries, planted flowers around the church building, and cleaned church windows. Additionally, kids cleaned Sunday School rooms and the library was organized. We were a tired but happy group that ate a meal together and went home to thank God and rest.
