Event Description

The NC Synod African Descent Strategy Team is leading new opportunities for congregations—an educational event that helps build a theologically and biblically based understanding of cultural differences. This training seeks to raise awareness and disrupt assumptions. It will help leaders live into Ephesians 2 by toppling the dividing walls. It will equip leaders from ELCA congregations to become aware of the many cultural differences that exist and learn how to appreciate, celebrate, navigate, and relate to them. This day of steep work will broaden perspectives and facilitate future action within congregations and beyond. Lay and rostered—all are invited to come on Saturday, February 22, to Holy Trinity, Charlotte, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free; a meal is provided. Questions? Contact Pr. CeCee Mills.

Invite your congregation; use this poster or this bulletin insert.
