Event Description
The Rapid Response Safety Network is a collective of volunteers who can offer community-based safety and security skills in nonpartisan spaces and is seeking volunteers during Early Voting and on Election Day! These trained volunteers (aka Chill Teams) will be deployed to assist groups participating in a statewide Power, Protection, and Encouragement (PPE) Safe Site Program.
All Chill Team volunteers are required go through the 1.5 hour online de-escalation training on either Wednesday, October 16, or Wednesday, October 30.
All Chill Team volunteers are strongly encouraged to attend our Pre-Election Team Meeting on Tuesday, October 15, from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
