Connected for New Life

“I will put my spirit within you, and you shall live, and I will place you on your own soil; then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken and will act, says the Lord.”
Ezekiel 37:14:

Just as God connects the dry bones for new life in Ezekiel 37 (RCL, Year A, Lent 5), God connects us through relationship, partnership, and shared purpose.

"This Lent, I invite you to consider how we are connected within and across this synod, and particularly through our North Carolina Synod agencies and institutions. These organizations represent God’s work in varied ways, and our partnership with them offers us greater opportunities to witness and take part in that work. By no means are they “dry bones” by themselves; they are very much alive! The biblical imagery, though, invites us to imagine how much more alive we can be if we are connected with one another and working together!"

—Bishop Emily Hartner (excerpt from her February Reflection: A Lenten Invitation to Connection)

Connected for New Life

Connect with Agencies & Institutions

This Lent, NC Synod congregations are invited to spotlight the agencies and institutions of the synod, lifting up the ministries that equip us to serve neighbors, build solidarity, and bridge gaps. Click each logo to access ready-to-use bulletin inserts, short blurbs for your bulletins, and accompanying logos.

All NC Synod agencies and institutions were invited to participate. As Agapé†Kure Beach Ministries enters a new season of leadership, congregations are encouraged to continue their support and partnership.

Connected Through Prayer, Liturgy, & Scripture
