In this six-week online course, “Critical Race Theory and the Church: Unpacking Race and Racism in Religious Spaces,” sponsored by Hood Theological Seminary and led by the Rev. Dr. Samuel Oliver, Jr., we will examine the fundamentals of Critical Race Theory (CRT) and explore its relevance and application within the context of congregations. This didactic will take place on six Mondays beginning Sept. 11 and ending on Nov. 13 via Zoom—each session will be one hour. There is no charge for this course.
