2. 2012 Synod Serve Day

Our entire synod is invited to participate in our first ever Synod Serve Day. Our NC Synod Assembly participants will be serving as part of our time together and invite you to serve where you are on June 2nd. You can even ORDER t-shirts with the logo to the left for your group to match the ones we'll be wearing in Hickory. Join us as we live our assembly theme - Joyfully Serving Christ Together!

4. Levine Children's Hospital Prom

Christ Lutheran Youth Help with Levine Children Hospital Prom
The youth of CLC partnered with The Sandbox, a non-profit organization, to provide "An Evening of Stars" which is a prom for the patients of Levine Children's Hospital. Students served as escorts, paparazzi, greeters, and pulling everyone onto the dance floor for a night of fun. When asked how her night was, one patient replied, "They made me feel like a princess!"

5. 2012 ELCA Youth Gathering

To the left I am pictured with former Bishop of the Florida Synod, Royall Yount, Sr., one of my favorite people on the planet. His faithful service and wisdom make him a person of vibrant faith in my life. Who are those people in your life?

My commitment to passing on faith includes helping congregations equip families to be places where faith is talked about, shared and deepened. I have the priviledge of spending time with some amazing young people. Our synodical youth events span the ages from 3-12th grade while also including young adults - YARPs (Young Adult Resource Persons) where my goal is to train them to serve our congregations.
