Download 2007 Brief Communications Survey Without communicating how could we expect to tell the “greatest story ever told?” Martin Luther’s ministry was impacted monumentally by the printing press. His sermons and books could quickly and inexpensively be spread among the people. They had an immediate and powerful impact. Today the Synod Communications Committee and Synod Communications Coordinator Donna Prunkl seek to use the current available technology to tell the message of God’s love and ministry in our synod and beyond. We do this through publications, the synod Web site, email newsletters, videos, electronic presentations, brochures, training opportunities and press releases. We also want to help congregations in their communication efforts. Various guides, graphics and handouts are available on this site.Donna Prunkl and her part-time assistant Rick Godby, also the synod Web master, can be contacted at the synod office. Through a variety of events and forums, we offer communications training opportunities throughout the year. Watch for announcements on the Events page. Helpful documents for your congregation concerning media and communications can be found by going to our Tech Help page. You may contact the committee or a member through the committee chair.
