Learn to pass on faith in this exciting evangelism event
led by the Rev. Ernie Hinojosa. Don't miss this opportunity
to share the joy and enthusiasm of the good news with Pastor
Ernie.
Pr. Ernie Hinojosa has been a major presenter at a
variety of Evangelism events across the ELCA over the past
few years. He served as a pastor/mission developer of Camino
Real Christian Fellowship (ELCA) in San Antonio, Texas, before
becoming the mission director for the NC Synod late in 2007.
Pastor Ernie brings much experience and a variety of viewpoints
to this conference.
The event begins Wednesday, June 4 at
1:00 p.m.

p.m. Session 1: Evangelism
made simple (really) Come learn
about the greatest evangelism tool all baptized Christians
already have, but don't use. This session will change the
way you think about evangelism and encourage you to live
out God's dream for you and your congregation.
3:30 - 5 p.m.
Session 2: Applying the strategy. In this
session we'll discuss how you can determine the best strategy
for evangelism in your particular setting.
7-8:30 p.m. Session 3: The
great evangelism killer. We'll discuss the greatest and most common
problem related to evangelism and how to overcome it.

Choice of three Workshops:
1. Evangelism for
Scaredy Cats with Pr. Ernie Hinojosa In this workshop explore practical
ideas for outreach, discipleship, and the prayer ministry
that supports it all.
2. Helping Congregations
Move from Membership to Discipleship with Wayne Nelson, AIM, Bishop's
Staff In this workshop explore the difference in the two
models and look at creative approaches to help congregational "members" view
congregation in a different way.
3. Discovering healthy
ways to invite persons in your life to a life in Jesus
Christ with Pr. Craig Bollinger of Christ the King-Charlotte Come
to discover a relational approach to sharing Christ in
meaningful ways
